In addition to creative writing, Dr. Alisha Drabek is an artist, educator, and community healing advocate. This webpage focuses on her visual arts and past consulting services under the business name "Nunaworks", a sole proprietorship from 1998-2021. The name "Nunaworks" takes its root from the Alutiiq word for "land—nuna".

Alutiiq Masks Pendant Collection, silver pendants designed by Alisha Drabek and crafted by Helm Johnson. The center Temciyusqaq “Skeptical” Mask is cedar hand-carved by Alisha Drabek. These masks represent a collection of Alutiiq masks housed at the Chateau Musee in Boulogne sur Mer, France, collected in 1871-1872 by Alphonse Pinart from the Kodiak Archipelago.
As a graphic designer, Alisha created PR materials, publications, murals, and logos. She primarily used the Adobe Creative Suite software to produce her graphic designs.

As an educator and Alutiiq language culture-bearer, Alisha has produced numerous educational resources, and curricula to promote Alaska History, and the Kodiak Alutiiq culture and language. See the Design Gallery below for examples of past projects, and where to download each.

From 1998 to 2021, Alisha served many Alaska Native organizations in PR, research, facilitation, and grant writing. Her funded grant narratives raised over $25M for her Tribal community and educational institutions, in addition to other project narratives that she edited. She provided group facilitation services for both the Kodiak Rural Forum and Koniag Roundtable, as well as strategic planning services for Tribes and Native Corporations.
Naut'staarpet - Our Plants: A Kodiak Alutiiq Plantlore by Priscilla N. Russell published in 2017 by the Alutiiq Museum. Alisha provided her graphic design publication and editing services for the publication.
